As I wrap up 10 consecutive years on the board (7 as president) of the Village Green Condominium Association of Wilmette, I wanted to make sure I provided feedback to you regarding the services provided by Schermerhorn and Company. I have been the primary board member contact with the assigned property manager over the past 8 years and consider myself particularly fortunate to have Ary Gilbert managing our property.

Too often we are quick to criticize and fail to recognize solid performance and take results for granted. Unlike his predecessor, Ary is often at our property checking on maintenance issues and / or vendors called by him for service. He is always prompt and professional in responding to my calls (average 3 days per week) and has been a great partner who provides excellent counsel. He has made it possible for me to reduce the time I spend on association business since I can always count on Ary to quickly initiate action when any problem arises.

Over the past year he has carried the ball from start to finish on resurfacing our blacktop to installation of a new building wide fire alarm system. Ary initiated and managed all facets of both projects from the initial bidding thru completion of each project. He was particularly effective gaining necessary entry to all 38 resident units for installation of fire alarm horns - what I expected to be a nightmare of coordination was completed on schedule. He has demonstrated similar timely, efficient responses to various building operational issues since being assigned to our association in early 2017.

I have received many unsolicited compliments regarding Ary's work. Owners frequently see him on property and have noted they are appreciative of his obvious commitment to
maintaining our property - the buildings and outside property alike.

Our association is pleased to have Ary assigned to our building. The board looks forward to maintaining this partnership in the future.
